Our Story

Garage Audio was first established in the Garage of our home in Melton Victoria when I left my job of 10 years at another Car stereo shop because I wanted to be close to home as my daughter was just born.

We offered Car audio installation, alarms, dash cameras reverse cameras ect.

During the quiet periods I reached out to local all the car stereos shops and helped out as a sub-contractor.

I thought it was a good idea to get a work car so purchased a lemon of a car from the auctions and had it decaled as the first official vehicle for garage audio.

Our next big break was came next when I got our first major brand "Morel"

This was very exciting for me as morel is a fantastic brand and I was very proud to have it in my arsenal.

Then tragedy struck when the evil Emperor Dan "Daniel Andrews" locked the state down for 2 years making it very difficult to work freely.

given the chance the wife and I decided to move to QLD and start over.

We booked a truck 6 months in advance.

In that time we had huge vehicle drama when the Navara's engine blow up 2 hours away on the way home from a camping trip.

We promptly got the vehicle fixed as we had the big move coming up.

We arrived at Scarborough in Feb 2022 at the inlaws house with $1000 to my name.

My wife got a job quickly and I immediately started doing Contractor work.

By June we had enough money behind us to rent a shop in Lawnton and established our first formal retail/workshop space.
